Superior Fence and Rail, an industry leader in the fencing industry, is growing rapidly in the Minneapolis area. We are seeking a hands-on Lead Fence Installer to run day-to-day operations on job sites, install a variety of fence types, and lead a small crew to complete projects safely, efficiently, and with high quality.
The ideal candidate has strong construction skills, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable directing others, communicating with customers, and representing Superior Fence and Rail on-site.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead installations of wood, vinyl, chain link, and ornamental fencing. Tasks include setting or driving posts, aligning rails, and installing gates with precision.
- Oversee and work alongside a crew of 2-4 members to install fences, assigning daily tasks and ensuring high productivity and quality.
- Interpret site plans, manage property lines, and troubleshoot field issues.
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain professional communication with customers on-site.
Requirements
- 2+ years fence installation.
- Technical proficiency to lead and complete installations from day one.
- Must have a clean driving record and pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to lift 80+ lbs and work outdoors in all Minnesota weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and legal authorization to work in the U.S.
